April 20, 2012

Yesterday, April 19th now known in some circles as “Patriots Day” is the day the first shots of the American Revolutionary War were fired some 237 ago. It was the day that an armed citizens militia proved that armed civilians with a lust for freedom can change history.

Today, April 20th and it is the birthday of one Adolf Hitler, dictator of Nazi Germany and personally responsible for the deaths of over 50 million human beings in the war and associated atrocities. Today should serve as a reminder of what can happen when there is no body of armed and freedom loving civilians with the will to oppose tyranny.

Just some thoughts as we head into the weekend.
Maybe some target practice would be nice?
